Ingredients  – Organic olive oil (olea europea) and/or grapeseed oil (Vitis vinifera) infused with peppermint and eucalyptus leaves, organic beeswax (cera flava from honeybee apis mellifera), organic essential oils of peppermint, eucalyptus, camphor, white thyme and/or rosemary, clove bud, non-gmo vitamin e (tocopherol from vegetable fats).

What it does not contain – Anything artificial, ever.

Directions for use – Gently massage a dab of organic herbal decongestant salve to the skin of the chest, neck, temples, back, or area under the nose to release the cooling vapors, ease nasal congestion and help relieve stuffiness.

Very rarely, sensitive skin gets a little irritated by one or more of these particular essential oils (although we follow a strict formula for safety). If this is you or your little one, do this: apply a dab of olive oil or coconut oil to the area where you want to put the salve, let it absorb for a good 20 minutes, then put the salve directly on top of that. Gives a little layer of protection.

**Gentle reminder: any struggle to breathe, especially in a child, should be considered a medical emergency and requires immediate medical attention.**

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE SUMMER: During warmer months, your Herbal Decongestant Salve may melt and separate a little. This is totally okay, and the salve is still in perfect working shape, it’s just that the touch of beeswax that gives it it’s consistency does sometimes give in to heat. In addition, it is highly likely that, after sitting in a hot delivery truck all day, it will reach you in this melty state. If you want to reset and firm it, just give it a good stir and leave it (closed tightly) in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. That should bring it closer to a solid than a liquid, although keep in mind the consistency of this product is usually *slippery*, for lack of a better word.

Anticipated shelf life: up to 1 year from date of purchase. For best results, store in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight.
